SERIES "TIME & EYE"
2010-2021

The artworks from the series “Time & Eye”, (2010-2021) explore the relationship between time, eye, and body. They represent different spatial relations resulting from the study of the hourglass. The reasons I chose this antique device are twofold. The first is its function of measuring the passage of time. The second is its characteristic shape. A flowing continued line connecting two circles, two spheres into one infinite eight.

Usually, I work in series, departing from a single work that organically evolves in a step-by-step process. Each new part of the series generates from questions raised by the previous work, and so on.
